Renata Varga Miceva

Renata Varga Miceva is a lawyer born in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. With over 20 years of legal experience, Ms. Miceva dedicates her career and practice to insurance, tort and business law, as well as other property matters.

Remaining true to her roots, Ms. Miceva obtained her professional and vocational education in her native country, actively participating in a number of international professional events and conferences. She studied at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius, Skopje, Faculty of Law “Justinianus Primus”, from where she received her degree in legal sciences, with a Certificate of Passing the Bar Exam obtained in 2004 by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Macedonia.

While studying law and immediately after graduating, Ms. Miceva interned in the field of notary and worked as a legal clerk, specializing in representing insured parties in insurance disputes in a renowned law firm in Skopje. She pursued that love for insurance seriously, pursuing her professional career in one of the leading insurance companies in Macedonia, and especially in Central and Eastern Europe, starting as Manager of the Legal Department and Secretariat of the Supervisory Board in the Joint Stock Company (2004 – 2008), Director of the Legal Department in the Joint Stock Insurance Company WINER – Vienna Insurance Group Skopje (2008 – 2011), Assistant General Manager and Director of the Legal Department in the Joint Stock Insurance Company WINER – Vienna Insurance Group Skopje (2011 – 2017), President of the Insurance Association of Macedonia (2015-2017). Since 2017, she has been an independent lawyer, then with her husband, also a long-standing, renowned lawyer, they founded the Law Firm MICEV Skopje.
